WHAT DO I HAVE TO CONSIDER IN THE MRI?

As a rule, we do not perform any MRI examinations if you have a cardiac pacemaker or other electronic devices on or in your body. If necessary, check the device pass for information about MRI compatibility and bring the pass with you to the examination. Please talk to the referring doctor about other options (e.g. CT). Most prostheses and surgical materials are MRI compatible. If you suffer from claustrophobia, please let us know (before you make an appointment) and we will advise you on the options in this case.

Starting in April 2022, appointments will be scheduled for FOLLOW-UP and for the timely imaging of patients with a NEWLY PALPABLE MASS in the breast.

HOW DO I KNOW THE RESULTS OF MY EXAMINATION?

We create a written report for all examinations, which is usually transfered electronically to the referring doctor within three working days. Depending on medical needs, we may also discuss the imaging findings with you personally after the examination.
